Ice breaker

What are things that you would not tolerate in a friendship?
The things  that I would not tolerate in a friendship are not to be a  liar , disrespecting , plastic ,  stealing , talking negative things and pretending to be someone that she/he is not and "paliton nimo ang friendship by treating her/him everyday" or in other words, FRIENDS with BENEFITS .. In a friendship, you should treat your friends as your biological sister/brother because without them you're alone in this world. Talking alone and some people might think that you're a crazy person. Like in a quote that says "NO MAN IS AN ISLAND" , yes right. No man is an island , same as having a true friends in life because no man can stand alone and friends should be in our side always when we need them in good times or bad times.

Friends  forever

MOST " The bridge master"

In this movie, it relates on one of the memory verse in the bible which is JOHN 3:16 FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY SON , THAT WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHALL NOT PERISH BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE. In this movie, the father loves his son so much because it is his only son and they are abandoned by the mother of the child. Every seconds, minutes and hours , his with his son wherever they will go. Having a father like that is so totally awesome and amazing. That he sacrifices his son just to saved the people who are in the train. God gave it as a challenge to him because the people who are in the train represents the world and us people who are now living and his son who died represents Jesus Christ who sacrifice his life in order to saved us sinners. But until now,we didn't still obey God.And we might not deny  that we are all sinners except God because he is perfect and wonderfully made.

What a busy week !!

This week is so hell yeah. We're so haggard and lack of sleep due to the requirements from our different subjects which the deadlines were the same. And look like a zombie. Funny ,isn't it? I can't imagine myself ,sleeping late and woke up early like sleeping between 11pm or 12midnight and woke up between 3am or 4am. And next week, will be so tired. Because finals is fast approaching. I can't believe that 2nd semester is coming and another busy months because we will undergo On-the-job training or to be a student teacher.

How to bake chocolate cupcakes ♥

What is Chocolate Cupcake? This lovely Chocolate Cupcake is all about having your own little cake that you do not have to share.Cupcakes may come in many flavors, but chocolate is still a real favorite. The Chocolate Cupcake gets its lovely favor from Dutch-processed cocoa powder that has been dissolved in hot water to bring out its full flavor. Dutch processed cocoa powder or Alkalized Unsweetened Cocoa Powder is cocoa that has been treated with an alkali to neutralize its acids. Because it is neutral and does not react with baking soda, it must be used in recipes calling for baking powder, unless there are other acidic ingredients in sufficient quantities used. Droste and Valrhona are two of my two favorites brands.

And now I do have a video about how to baked chocolate cupcakes.

Kagay-an Folkloric Dance Competition 2011

The Folkloric dance competition was held at the Pelaez Sports center complex at exactly 8:00a.m .. The contingent start there street dancing presentation at the Rodelsea Circle. There are 8 contingent from different barangays and provinces not only in Cagayan de oro city but outside the city like from Zamboanga Sibugay . In every contingent they have there storyline like "ang pagluwas sa birhen sa cota" , "ang alamat sa lubi" og daghan pa. The competition was said to be the first non-Cdo contingent to add cultures from different provinces here in Mindanao, not only in Mindanao but also to other places here in the Philippines. As what I've heard in the television , One of the ABS-CBN reporter Miss Sheila Joy Labrador said that, "not only Kagay-anons are watching the contest but also people from different provinces . And not only Filipinos, but also the Foreigners like the American Foreigners". In my own opinion, Foreigners do love the said competition because in America they don't have this kind of contest that tribute the lives of our Ninuno's. The Champion in the said competition is the Contingent from Zamboanga Sibugay which is manage by Governor R. Jalosjos, they received as a price of 250,000 pesos and a trophy. The 2nd runner-up is the contingent from Barangay Gusa who receives as a price of 200,000 pesos and a trophy. And the 3rd runner-up is the contingent from St. Peter's College of Balingasag , they receives as a price of 150,000 pesos and a trophy. Non winning contingents receives a consolation price worth 10,000 pesos. According to the judges, they are all winners but they should choose the best. And it's the first time of the Zamboanga Sibugay contingents to join the said competition and it's first time also to visit Cagayan de Oro City. And According to Governor Jalosjos, the place (CDO) is a nice place for vacation and the people are hospitable. The Kagay-an folkloric dance competition ends at exactly 12:30 noon and the viewers didn't go until the show ends even though they didn't eat there lunch meal..

My Experiences last week

Last week was our midterm examination week ! We are busy compiling our requirements in order to take the examination. During the examination week, our schedule is not hectic , only monday and wednesday are just the day of our examination and the rest is for us to take some rest and finish some unfinished projects in our different subjects. We just have 3 or 4 hours sleep because we need to read all the stories and some of the outlines in our different subjects. And last August 17-19 was the Kumbira 2011 competition held at Limketkai Atrium, and of my classmate, Elenie was our participant in bed set-up. During the last day, we assist Elenie , we are the one who brings her materials to be used in the competition. Sad to said, we fail to attend our class because we're still assisting her. Even though, she didn't won but still she's the winner for us. *Cheer*

( one of the highlight in the said event ) ♥

Cone of Experience by : Edgar Dale

Background

Year ago an educator named Edgar Dale , often cited as the father of modern media in education, developed from his experience in teaching and his observations of the learners the “ Cone of Experience”. The Cone’s utility in selecting instructional resources and activities is as practical today as when Dale created it.

CONE OF EXPERIENCE
is a visual model meant to summarize Dale’s classification system for the varied types of mediated learning experiences.

People generally remember :
10% of what they read,
20% of what they hear,
30% of what they see,
50% of what they hear and see - video,
70% of what they say and write ,
90% of what they say as they do something.

Interpreting the Cone
  • The cone is based on the relationships of various educational experiences to reality.
  • The bottom level of the cone "direct purposeful experiences" , represents reality or the closest things to real, everyday life.
  • Direct experience allows us to use all senses.
